Colony Park - Club Rules & Constitution
| Ref |
Club Rules - Issue No 7 - As at August 2003 |
| 1 |
No youth may be a member without parent / guardian
consent. |
| 2 |
At Pre-Competitive age groups (8's, 9's, 10's,
11's and 12's) the Club will accept any youth
as a member with no restriction on residence. |
| 3 |
Both Colony Park and Colony Colts teams shall,
in the absence of specific Committee approval,
have a maximum of five players in their squads
who are not ordinarily resident within the Inverurie
town boundaries. Trialists are included within
these quotas.
Both Colony Park and Colts squad Managers/Coaches must jointly assess
their squads in April each year and must allow players to move in either
direction in order to allow players to develop.
All teams on production of a reasonable case for deviation to the above
rule will come before the Executive Committee for a decision.
Inverurie town boundaries or "local" shall be within a six mile radius
of Inverurie. |
| 4 |
The Colony Park 19's "A" team is exempt from
rule (3) until further notice. |
| 5 |
Any youth who has previously been a member
of the Club at a pre-competitive age group but
who lives out with the Inverurie town boundaries
is exempt from rule (3). |
| 6 |
It is preferred that every player should compete
at his own age level. However, where this ruling
restricts the development of an individual who
is capable of competing at a higher age level,
team managers, the youth, his parents and the
Committee, must all be in agreement prior to
the youth playing at a higher level. |
| 7 |
When a club member is sent off the field of
play, or accumulated the necessary points to
appear before the League Executive Committee,
the club will pay the resultant fine for the
first appearance only. Any subsequent fines incurred
for that season will be the responsibility of
the offending player. |
| 8 |
Furthermore the Club Chairman may, at his discretion,
request the offending player to appear before
the Management Committee, and be subject to any
additional Club discipline as deemed necessary. |
| 9 |
Any youth participating in a match or tournaments
arranged through the club must wear the club
uniform in place at that time. |
| |
