Young Colony teams raise money for cancer charity

A coffee morning to mark the first year of competitive football for Colony Colts and Colony Park 2005s raised funds for the MacMillan Cancer Charity.

The players used the occasion of their participation in the third round of the Scottish Cup at home against central belt teams to fundraise.

MacMillan is a charity close to both teams’ hearts and, showing real team spirit, each player arranged to bring cakes and goodies for all the players, their families and spectators.

The Colony Park 2006 team also donated some money to the cause, resulting in £200 being raised for the charity.
